This demo timeline is intentionally simple.
That is the point.
A microblog should get out of the way, let people publish, and keep the content under their control.
Themes should change presentation without taking control away from the system.
Bonumark Stream separates the public look from the core publishing engine, so the site can evolve visually without turning the codebase into a mess.
The public timeline is only half the product.

Images should feel natural here, not bolted on. A stream needs to handle text, photos, and quick updates without making the user fight the interface.

A post should have an author, a voice, and a place to go next. That is the difference between publishing and dumping text into a feed.
Portability is not a bonus feature.
If your content cannot move, you do not really own it. Bonumark Stream is built around the idea that your writing should remain yours.

Link previews make shared references easier to scan.
The link should still matter on its own, but the preview gives the timeline more context without turning the post into clutter.

This install is running a public-release build of Bonumark Stream.
The focus is clean posting, simple ownership, theme support, media handling, comments, profiles, and a workflow that makes sense on shared hosting.
Bonumark Stream supports clean Markdown.

Markdown keeps the writing clean behind the scenes.
Bonumark Stream is being prepared for public GitHub release.
That means the boring parts matter: installer behavior, upgrades, version numbers, manifests, documentation, security, and clean file structure.
A project is not ready just because it works once.
A timeline does not have to be disposable.
That is the mistake most platforms trained people to accept. Post it, lose it, scroll past it, forget it.
Bonumark Stream is built around a different idea: short-form publishing can still belong to you. A quick post can still have a permalink. A thought can still be part of your site. A timeline can still be yours instead of rented from somebody else.
